Style up Social Academy is looking for a creative, fashion and Social Media loving individual to join the team.

Here at Style Up Social Academy we are a boutique Social Media management and training agency focused on empowering fashion businesses. It was launched in 2018 founded by Verity Hurd.

It is now run by both Verity and her business partner Kate Webster.

We are now looking to expand the team following successful growth within the agency.

We are looking for a Social Media assistant to join in this very exciting time of growth.

Your role will be to support us, in the day to day activities, assisting with Social Media management, content creation and engagement strategies.

This is a freelance part time role for 8 hours a week with the potential for this to increase and develop further.

The ideal person will be fashion focused, super organised, motivated and creative.

You will be incredibly passionate about helping businesses grow and have a strong interest in Social Media. You will be working on our Style Up Social Academy Social Media platforms and with independent fashion brands within the agency.

  • Knowledge of social media platforms especially Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest 
  • A strong interest in fashion, retail and style

  • Experience of scheduling tools (Tailwind, Facebook Creator Studio and Later) 
  • Knowledge of the fashion and retail industry
  • Knowledge of social media trends and how they apply to the fashion industry
  • Proficiency in using google docs, gmail, canva etc
  • Efficient with using Social Media tools and apps


  • This is a remote position, however, there will be occassional meetings in Manchester and Leeds – Ideally to would at least once a month to discuss work. (Travel will be paid for)

  • Salary- £450 per month
  • Hours- Part time 8 hours per week
